• The World’s most expensive coffee is called Black Ivory and is made with elephant droppings! (FYI – there is none in our Shumba blend!)
• Coffee is the World’s second most traded commodity after oil

• In 16th century Constantinople, not providing your wife with enough coffee was grounds for divorce!
• Globally, 2.25 billion cups of coffee are consumed every day
• Fairtrade coffee costs more, but it goes a long way in improving conditions for farmers, and they spend at least 25% of that Fairtrade Premium to enhance productivity and quality
